It was around 11:45 AM on Sunday 31st March 2019, when the IAF’s MiG-27 aircraft crashed in Jodhpur Rajasthan 2019 was on a scheduled routine mission. The UPG aircraft took off from Utarlai Air Force Base. The aircraft was in Sirohi District which is about 120 kilometers away from Jodhpur Rajasthan when the engine of the aircraft started malfunctioning, hence forced the pilot to eject and crash the aircraft on a deserted land away from the population. It was the bravery and instinct of the pilot of the malfunctioning aircraft to direct the plane to an area where there was no population or civilian property in a matter of seconds. The pilot was absolutely safe in the process but recieved some minor cuts and bruises.
