Ingredients:

For Marination :

  • Chicken : 500 Gram
  • Ginger Garlic Paste : 2 tsp
  • Curd : 3 tsp
  • Lemon Juice : 1 tsp
  • Vinegar : 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder : 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder : 1 tsp
  • Salt : 1 tsp
  • Onion, chopped : 2 tsp

For Gravy :

  • Butter : 2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder : 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder : 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder, chopped : 1 tsp
  • Ginger: 1 tsp
  • Water : 1/2 Cup
  • Salt : 1 tsp
  • Green Chilli : 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes : 1 tsp
  • Sugar : 1/2 tsp
  • Butter : 3 tsp
  • Cream : 3 tsp

Recipe:

  1. Take the required chicken in a big bowl
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, curd, lemon juice, vinegar, coriander powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and chopped onion. Mix it very well.
  3. Then keep the mixed ingredients to marinate for 2hrs.
  4. In a hot pan, add butter and red chilli powder.
  5. add coriander powder, cumin powder and chopped ginger and mix it properly.
  6. Add a little water and then add salt, tomato, sugar and green chilli and mix it properly.
  7. Take another pan and add butter and spread it at all sides of the pan and then add the marinated chicken .
  8. Mix them well and then cover the pan to cook the chicken.
  9. Cook until the chicken turns golden brown and the butter will be subsided.
  10. Now add the pre cooked tomato gravy to the chicken and properly mix it. Then cook it for a while with the cover.
  11. Add cream to gravy after cooking and mix it well.
  12. Put it in a Serving bowl and serve hot with rice or chapatis.

  • Black peppercorns: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Egg: 1
  • Cornflour/ corn starch: 2 tablespoons

  • Red capsicum: ½ medium
  • Green capsicum: ½ medium
  • Garlic chopped: 1 tablespoon

Recipe:

  1. Take peppercorns and dry roast it form a minute and after cooling, crush it properly in a mortar with a pestle.
  2. Make medium pieces of the chicken and put it in a mixing bowl and add some crushed peppercorns.
  3. On another bowl break open an egg and mix it well, then add it to the chicken with 1 tablespoon cornflour and mix all.
  4. In a pan heat oil and then add chopped spring onion and capsicums and cut it into triangle shape.
  5. Then add the chicken in the heated oil and deep fry it until it becomes goldenish and crisp.
  6. Drain the oil and again add 2 tablespoon oil in the pan and add onion bulbs, ginger, garlic and the triangle shaped capsicums and saute it properly for around 20 secs.
  7. after properly mixing it, add soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of water and mix it.
  8. With the remaining cornflour, add some water and make a smooth slurry and add it to the pan with the chicken and mix it properly and cook till it thickens.
  9. Add the remaining crushed peppercorns and chopped spring onions and mix it properly.
  10. Put the chicken into a serving bowl and serve it .

Recipe:

  1. In a big bowl, cut the chicken beast into thin strips and add salt, ginger-garlic paste, crushed peppercorns, soy sauce, chillies and mix them well. Marinate or keep them aside for 15-20 mins.
  2. In a non stick pan toast sesame seeds till it fragrant.
  3. Take a kadai and put sufficient oil and heat it.

  1. Grease a baking tray with oil and preheat the oven at 180 Celsius.
  2. Cut the skin of the chicken or make incisions on the chicken and put it in a bowl. Add lemon juice and salt and keep for 10 mins to marinate.
  3. In a non stick pan, heat ghee and add garam masala powder, 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, and green cardamom powder and mix all of it while heating it for a minute.
  4. Save some of the spiced ghee and add the rest to the chicken and mix it properly.
  5. Then add ginger-garlic paste, pepper powder and salt and mix it well.
  6. Add the remaining chilli powder and oil and mix well and keep it aside for at least 30 mins.
  7. Now place the spiced chicken in the preheated oven and bake for another 40-45 mins.
  8. Brush the tandoori chicken with the spiced ghee and serve it on a plate with fresh coriander sprigs, lemon and onion rings.
